The available data regarding post-occupancy results from the WELL Building Standard varies from each certified project, in which no two projects provide the same information as another. In other words, there is no standardized set of analytics available to assess the beneficial outcomes from the standard. This variation and lack of consistency of analytics and hard data leaves a lot of uncertainty regarding the process and whether or not it is beneficial to businesses.

Although there is a lack of consistency within the data, it is noticed that the most common theme regarding post-occupancy results from the WELL Building Standard, are the increases in collaboration, innovation, and a sense of community. From a human resource perspective, these attributes are highly influential to a business’ success, and can provide tremendous benefits to overall productivity and quality of work.

The conclusion from this research is that there is not enough hard data to prove whether or not the WELL Building Standard is beneficial to all businesses
